October 7 marked the very first Dreamer Data pop up shop. We hosted it at the very new Kick6 streetwear boutique. I’d like to start by saying thank you to all those that attended and a very big thank you to those who purchased our fall line. The fall line will be dropping online very shortly! Now, we know that you guys loved the performances, so I am going to give you a little background info on everybody with a link available to stream their music if you’re thirsty for more. The photos were taken by Sautermedia and Dashymedia , some of the best photographers around
We started the night off with Joliet’s very own, Tone Taso. Taso’s energy is undoubtedly one of the best around. That being the reason why he went first. Taso has been music for quite some time now and has a Dreamer Data Interview on our youtube channel as well. His energy, his flow, and his lyrics is what keeps people coming back for more.
Second on the line up was Marzo. Marzo is an artist even I am new to. But after hearing his music I knew he would be a great addition to the lineup. His flow is impeccable, and he brought great energy to the show as well. Being from Chicago the crowd didn’t know Marzo beforehand, yet everyone was moving and feeling the music. Marzo is definitley someone I will have appear in another show!
Up third was Chase Island. I have been listening to Chase for quite some time now, and have yet to hear a bad song from him. Dominating the Chicago scene, I thought it’d only be right to bring him out to the suburbs. His music makes you feel good and happy, melodic beats is what he dominates best. And yes that is Chase rocking the fall hoodie.
Fourth, was Slight Benny, the birthday boy. Benny has a very unique flow and sound to his music, which is what makes listening so enjoyable. He brings very good energy with and without music. Bringing him out for you guys in the suburbs to see has been something I have been wanting to do for quite some time now.
If there is one thing you should know about Harley Courage, it is that he loves to mosh. And it’s not hard to do when he is screaming and jumping around. Harley has been dropping hits consistently and is someone that I want to bring to the Chicago scene very soon. His fun energy is contagious and makes for a performer that you always want to add in the lineup.
Unfortunately there was no photos of Valsouth from our pop up, but Val had a killer set. His music is enjoyable in any mood. Val’s dedication to his music is like no other, and the dedication pays off. Well known in the Chicago scene, Val is someone I wanted to expose to the suburbs as well. If Valsouth is not on your radar by now, you are missing out.
We had a very special guest that goes by the name of Hesh Cardiel. I was told Hesh wanted to perform just two days in advance. When I heard, I was very excited that he wanted to see what Dreamer Data was all about. Hesh knows how to work a crowd like no other. I’ve seen other performances by him at various shows and knew that he is someone that I would Definitley want at one of mine. His music’s energy is contagious and makes you want to jump, no matter how long the set
A fan favorite, Jiggly J had the crowd screaming, yet again. Jiggly has performed at many of our shows and has never not had everyone jumping around. No matter what the circumstances, Jiggly gets everyone going. Yet to perform in the city, his fanbase is growing tremendously. We are bound to get him in the line up at one of our future city shows.
To wrap up the night, we had Adot come down to show the suburbs how to rock. Adot is a key figure in the underground scene and his work ethic is unbelievable. Performing at big shows like the Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash and various others, he doesn’t mind coming and getting a smaller crowd going. Adot is someone that you should be listening to now.
Lastly, I want to thank our DJ, Derek. Derek always fills in the sets with music everyone bumps to, and brings good energy to all the artists he meets. He has dm’d our past two shows and plan on him dj’ing a lot of our future shows as well.
That is all we got, another big thank you to everyone that supports us and all the artists at the show. The fall line will be dropping sooner than you think ⌨️
